Welcome to SubWest Rotary!

Founded in 1957, the Rotary Club of Pensacola Suburban West has become one of the most active Rotary clubs in the 6940 District. We are most often referred to as "SubWest", but are also know as the "Blue Angel" club, the "fun" club, and the "fried chicken" club. However you choose to refer to us, you can expect great food, fun, and camaraderie. Visiting Rotarians and Rotarians' guests are always welcome!

Our Club and Rotary

In all that SubWest members think, say, or do, we value truth, fairness to all, building goodwill and better friendships, and that which is beneficial to all concerned.

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for service and fellowship among our community leaders, and to encourage members to contribute their time, financial resources, and influence toward the Five Avenues of Rotary Service (see Officers & Service). At the same time, we work to develop business and social contacts while creating activities, which are family friendly.

THE FOUR-WAY TEST of the things we think, say or do
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

The Object of Rotary

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
